My name is Ashley Mathieson, and I am a licensed realtor in Florida and Alabama. After 15 years of teaching high school chemistry in Georgia and spending my vacation time on the gulf coast, I decided to retire from academics, making the big move to the beach and a career in real estate.
Although my family and I spent years exploring every inch of sand from Gulf Shores, AL, through Scenic 30A, FL, choosing a favorite beach town was still quite the challenge. While the beaches are gorgeous throughout the entire area, each little town has its own distinctive characteristics that make it a desirable place to live while maintaining a unique individuality. After much debate, we landed on Perdido Key, FL as the perfect home base for us, our only regret being not making the move sooner!
